


I'm fairly certain someone who works for comiXology might see my post. To wrap this up: comiXology, you're money-grabbing cockblocking liars. $6 a month for full access seemed too good to be true, but then again, Movie Pass managed to survive for quite a while, so there's precedent for weird business plans. But straight-up misleading your customers? There was no asterisk next t o "Unlimited" - no, it was all just cheerful and enthusiastic ad copy. That's fine, yeah, I can see the utility in that. Look, I get it: Unlimited in its current form is nice and convenient if you just want to sample different comic series. (Normally, I would've hit up the local libraries but, you know, plague.) Given how they misled me about the essential nature of their so-called unlimited service, I'm positive they'd find some way to screw me out of my digital purchase, even if I did buy the rest of the issues. I love that series, but I don't love it that much.

If I wanted to read the next 120 issues, I'd have to pay about $100 for the TPBs. I was reading my way through The Walking Dead series (which - you guessed it - had a nice shiny "Unlimited" sign on it), and hit the paywall after issue 60. Well, I never thought I'd get cockblocked by a comic book company. Anywhere You Go," and then sign up for a recurring monthly subscription, and if there's an "Unlimited" sign next to a comic series, I instinctively assume that every comic in that series is unlimited, what with my shiny new unlimited membership.
